Real Estate & Commercial Transactions
The real estate section of the firm, with its staff of attorneys and paralegals,
has a combined experience of 45 years in real estate and banking. The members of
this practice group possess experience in every aspect of residential and commercial
real estate transactions, including but not limited to permitting, development,
and financing. The firm has represented clients in transactions ranging from a first-time
home purchase to the development and financing of multi-building apartment projects
and nationally recognized chain restaurants. Members of this practice section have
extensive experience in the bond financing of apartment projects as well as HUD
financed projects.
On the litigation side, members of this practice area have managed multiple simultaneous
foreclosures on a statewide basis, as well as lender work-outs and loan restructuring.
The attorneys in this section have also done claims work for a number of national
title insurance companies, and are authorized to issue title insurance through five
nationally recognized underwriters.
The real estate practice section also performs general corporate and business functions
for the firm's clients, including the formation of corporations, partnerships, limited
partnerships, limited liability companies, and joint ventures.
