Representative Client Experience

  • Assistant General Counsel with The St. Joe Company (2000-2010), one of the largest landowners in the state of Florida. Involved with residential and commercial transactions (i.e. large scale residential and commercial developments and the relocation of the Panama City – Bay County International Airport), large scale land use changes (i.e. developments of regional impact and comprehensive plan amendments), local governmental land use changes (i.e. re-zoning), environmental permits with both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (watershed level Regional General Permits and Ecosystem Management Agreements, contamination and litigation.
  • General Counsel with Stiles Corporation (1994-2000), a full service real estate company. Handled complex commercial transactions, including office leases and build to suit deals. Prepared and negotiated construction, engineering and architectural agreements. As Chief Administrative Officer, oversaw risk management and human resource functions.
