Richard “Rick” Miller is an attorney with over 15 years of mediation experience. He is an Assistant Trainer for the Florida Supreme Court’s Dispute Resolution Center and has served as a role-play coach for the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Fundamentals of Mediation Training Program since the program’s inception in 2017.
A Florida Supreme Court certified circuit, county, and family mediator, Rick regularly conducts workshops on cross-cultural fluency and fostering resolution in dispute settlement. He volunteers as a trainer in mediation courses at Florida State University College of Law and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law; Rick also volunteers as a judge of mediation and negotiation competitions, including the American Bar Association Mediation Competition. While working pro bono, he has assisted parties in reaching full agreements in over 94% of court-connected mediations.
Rick is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Tallahassee Bar Association.
