Cameron Carstens focuses his practice on education law, employment law, and administrative law. Cameron defends school boards in litigation and provides counsel to school districts and superintendents on issues involving employees, students, contracts, policy development, and compliance with various laws that govern educational institutions.
In his employment law practice, Cameron defends clients in the public and private sectors in employment litigation and advises clients on a wide range of employment issues. He routinely represents employers before state and federal regulatory agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Cameron also represents private postsecondary colleges and other clients in licensure and compliance matters and other types of administrative disputes before state agencies and the Division of Administrative Hearings.
Cameron is a member of the Labor and Employment Law, Administrative Law, and Trial Lawyers Sections of The Florida Bar. He is a past recipient of the Bennett Scholarship from the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar to attend the Advanced International Advocacy Course at the University of Oxford. Cameron has been selected as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2019-2026.
